Project: Meijer LPGA Classic
In 2014, Meijer decided to bring the LPGA to Grand Rapids. Teeing it up with a teaser campaign featuring a pair of argyle socks, we launched a campaign around not just the golf, but the entire event experience - from runs to concerts to celebrity chef cookoffs and more.
Hard-core golf fans weren’t our only target market - in fact, they weren’t even our main target market. We wanted a family-friendly event that everyone could enjoy. Including a 5K run, a concert, and a celebrity chef cookoff as part of the event ensured there really was something for everyone.
